LEATHER GOODS
Caroline Letang
After working in the restaurant industry and traveling to several countries, Caroline returned to school in 2011 to learn pattern design. This led her to work in the fashion industry in Montreal.
Following a request from her husband, a chef, she made her first leather knife case. It was an instant success in the restaurant industry and in order to meet the demand, she created her company in January 2016.
Since then, her collection has grown with an offer of different sizes of cases, aprons and other accessories allowing her to use the leather scraps from her production.
Working from her studio in Montreal, Caroline creates items where every detail is important to offer an authentic, useful, practical and high quality product. The material she uses is essentially local, notably the hard leather from the tannery des Ruisseaux in Kamouraska, and the fish leather from Fishu cuir, in Quebec City.
