Paying homage to the architecture of the old walled city, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Renée Bovet was inspired by the impressive Château Frontenac to offer us these magnificent coasters, which will remind you of your vacation walks in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Renée Bovet is a master of painting on silk. This artist, whose remarkable talent is to know how to feel and represent the joy of life, has been using this most refined mode of expression since 1978. Member of the Empreinte coopérative (Montreal), since 1988. She has received awards such as: Winner of the 1999 Prix du public, Salon des métiers d'art du Québec (Montreal) and fifty-nine of her paintings were chosen by the Quebec Ministry of Agriculture, in 1989, to be awarded to the winners of the "Villes et villages fleuris du Québec" contest.

This Feu Follet mini bowl is handmade in Montreal by ceramist Mathilda Lovell. Use it for condiments or as a teacup. An excellent host gift, it can also be used to hold small objects. The brushstrokes decorating the cup recall the dancing flames of the will-o'-the-wisp legends.

Mathilda Lovell is a Franco-British ceramic artist trained at Montreal's Centre de céramique Bonsecours. She inherited her passion from her grandfather, who was also a ceramist. In her collections, she creates a world in which everyday objects are inspired by fantasy. She finds her ideas for motifs in European, African and aboriginal cultures and legends.

Mathilda Lovell is a ceramic artist of Franco-British origin. She inherited her passion from her grandfather, who was also a ceramist. Trained at Montreal's Centre de céramique Bonsecours, she creates a world in which bowls, plates, goblets and more become works of art.
