Renée Bovet is a master of painting on silk. This artist, whose remarkable talent is to know how to feel and represent the joy of life, has been using this most refined mode of expression since 1978. She has received awards such as: Winner of the 1999 Prix du public, Salon des métiers d'art du Québec (Montreal) and fifty-nine of her paintings were chosen by the Quebec Ministry of Agriculture, in 1989, to be awarded to the winners of the "Villes et villages fleuris du Québec" contest.
