Regular price $18.00
A mini ceramic dish, handmade in Quebec, with a minimalist and raw style whose shape and irregular glaze recall a botanical motif.
This delicate piece is a creation of Montreal ceramic artist Sophie Cousineau. Use it at the table for your sauces and condiments
Montreal ceramic artist Sophie Cousineau creates durable, multi-functional objects to enliven and comfort the senses. The primary colors she uses, the contrast between the color of the clay and the glaze, between the matte or glossy texture of the glaze and the bare clay contribute to the enhancement of the raw material.
I am inspired by the Bauhaus philosophy to create sober objects with minimalist geometric lines that can serve multiple functions. I am inspired by the colors and shapes used in the works of Gaudi, Kandinsky, Miro, and Hundertwasser.
